KERMIT IN THE AARP?

Kermit the Frog has turned 50 years old! I had no idea he was so old. He's aged very gracefully.

Actually, he has only been a frog for 36 years, having been a sort of lizard in his early days. I'm not sure how that fact would affect the evolution vs. intelligent design debate.

Kermit has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I frequently quote him, saying: "Time's fun when you're having flies." I can still see him shuddering when someone mentioned eating frogs' legs.

So, Happy Birthday, Kermit! I guess I have to make that Happy Belated Birthday. Apparently he was born on May 9, 1955.
