The nice man from Time Warner Cable just finished restoring by broadband service. All it took was 2 new splitters. I just wish it had taken little less than 10 days to do it.
So now all I have to do is to hook up the router (Time Warner does NOT support routers, as they kept telling me) and restore both my and my wife's computers to pre-dial-up mode.
Oh, yes, I also have to restore the dining table leaves and the card tables to the closet where they were blocking the cable connection panel.
