I kinda doubt he found what he was looking for here

Someone just Googled "overgrown breasts." This blog was listed first.

And avoid South Dakota while you're at it

Abortion Law May Affect S.D. Tourism
Let the people of South Dakota know that electing neanderthals has a cost. Spend your tourist dollars elsewhere. Massachusetts comes to mind.

Stay away from Denny's

Weird web search of the day

"chevy caprice police love it" came here.

Blogger problems?

I've been trying to change my template for a while, with no luck. I wonder if this post will publish.

Beware the Ides of March!

I'm talking to you, Julius!

(P.S. I love your salad.)

The Great Office Cleaning Project Update

Now there's lots of wood on my desk visible! And I found the receipt for my TV, which I've been looking for for ages. I have an extended warranty on it that runs for another 18 months. The receipt was in a big envelope marked "2003-2004 Receipts," which had been hiding behind my computer monitor. I didn't even remember I had put it there.

I'm actually about 80% done with the desk, and I should finish it tomorrow--though I am going to have to spend some time with the people coming to fix my windows. No, not the one running on my computer (though that one could use some work, too), the ones that are supposed to keep the outside air outside. One of them isn't. The only way I can keep it closed is to jam a couple of plastic wedges between the window and the frame. There's another one that is extremely hard to open--maybe they can adjust that.

Also, the contractor is coming to fix up the grout. Hopefully they'll all be done by noon, and I can get back to The Project.

Template fix

I've diddled with my template a little. I fixed a bug on my left side margins, so things should be a little more readable. I've also made the post headline font larger, and the dates blue. I think from now on I will not be using all-caps for my headlines.

OFFICE CLEAN-UP PROJECT STATUS

I did get a couple of good days of work in on it Wednesday and Thursday. (Friday I had a doctors appointment, watched Wisconsin lose its first game in the Big Ten men's basketball tournament, and I also went out with my wife in the evening. But I did have time to go and buy some big plastic storage boxes. They're not pretty, but they fit pretty well on the shelves in the wall units in my office. They're great for holding large numbers of small items.) Yesterday I ended up getting nothing done, after doing some research for our trip to Spain and getting cleaned up for our dinner out and opera in the evening.

But I can actually see some bare wood on my desk now!

I have nothing special planned for today (Sunday), so I should be able to really get back to work.
