I GIVE UP

I tried everything I could think of. Nothing worked. I've gotten no reply from the Blogger support people (not that they promised to reply--you get what you pay for (if you're lucky), and Blogger is free).

The old template won't work, at least not for me.

So I chose a new template, added in my links and such, played with the fonts until I got one I liked, and went with that. The only "feature" that this one seems to have is that my flickr letters (see Thanks, Katya) insist on arranging themselves vertically instead of horizontally. I can live with that.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled blog.
