- Jailed Kentucky clerk seeks emergency injunction in gay marriage case This is something she should have done long ago (although the Kentucky courts, not the federal, are probably the proper place). As long as all people can get marriage licenses in the county on an equal basis, she should be able to get an accommodation. But I wonder if the governor has the power under Kentucky law to do this.
